I absolutely love the texture shading you've got going on your Zangoose model! (not to mention its beautifully fluid animation)

I'd be interested in knowing how to do a toon shader like this. That "scratchy" transition between colors especially intrigues me. What were the shader and lighting settings you used to achieve this look?

I'm pretty sure shoved a fur texture in the bump map slot and a falloff map with two steps in them middle for the toon shading - trying to work around the problem where the transitions can be anything from a small border between light and shadow or a giant nasty block of color. Of course, this was mostly trying to work around the 256 color limit in mugen as well as keeping it manageable so I could make a lot of palette swaps (mostly did, though it has some color bleedin issues around the outlines)
